At an event held in Los Angeles, US , Motorola brought back the Razr flip phone from the past . The new Razr highlights a foldable display and a design that is similar to the old device . The smartphone made its debut in the US with a price of $1,499 .
The device has a 2.7-inch outer quick view display for notifications and for the simple tasks like responding to messages . The chin of the Razr is thick , and it has an energy button that is built-in with a fingerprint scanner .
The Motorola Razr flip phone is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset along with 6 GB of RAM . It has native storage of 128 GB . The device doesnt have the support for microSD card .
The internal display has a notch that includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera . Below the outer display is a 16-megapixel main camera with Night Vision , EIS and dual LED flash support . The 2,520mAh non-removable battery of the smartphone helps 15W TurboPower fast charging .
The device runs on Android 9 Pie OS .
The Razr will be available for pre-orders via Verizon with a price of $1,499 from December 26 .
